Swollen

Hey all! Wish me luck tomorrow! I have to have some lab work done, as my doctor wants to see what's causing me to swell up so much. My ankles/feet especially get swollen, esp. the left side. I keep gaining all this weight, even though I do my treadmill and I hardly eat! They've already ruled out blood clotting (thank God!), but they want to see where the swelling is coming from and how to stop it! In the meantime, I'm supposed to be on a low-salt diet! The first week I actually followed the diet...I lost 8 pounds! I was almost at the weight I was supposed to be. It's hard to follow though, so I'm all bloated again! Hopefully they'll find the problem (and praying it's nothing serious!).

I'm supposed to be about 10-15 lbs lighter... The way I eat, I SHOULD BE skin & bones! Again, wish me luck!

Your in my prayers Jules! I love salt, I bloated really bad when I was pregnant & the doctor told me to lay off the salt. I didn't do it

Thank you for your prayers! I'm not a "big" salt eater; however, it's amazing how many things are loaded with sodium, and we're not aware of it! I think in the meantime, the best thing for me to do is stay away from it (and read the labels all the time).
