Good news!

I just wanted to thank you all so very much for your amazing prayers concerning my Dad's job situation.
He had applied for a police job for a city in May that we really hoped for because the pay was great and even gets better after academy. Well, he passed all the tests and everything. After that we waited...and waited....
Today he got an e-mail from the Sgt. that said congratulations! He has been hired! He was approved by everyone including the chief of police. They wanted my Dad from day one. The academy starts October 1st and he will graduate December 14th, so please continue to pray he will do spectacular in the academy. They actually want him to ride around in the police car some starting Wednesday for experience and everything because they like him so much. This is just such wonderful news. I can hardly believe it! What is so neat is that the city he will be working for is like my Mother's "stomping grounds". It is historic and still old fashioned. People even call it a sort of "Mayberry". grinsmiley

What's kind of funny is that today my Grandparents came back from Italy and brought him back a cute "police car toy" and they didn't even know the latest news. How ironic! deputy

Also, this makes the coming holiday shopping a bit easier, plus, I MIGHT be getting a job FINALLY if I continue to do well in my studies at Arby's. Life is really looking up. I give God ALL the Glory because that is where it is due!
