| The Vincent Family that I go to church with are in need of prayer. The mom Kim, is in the last stages of Melanoma. Her husband Kevin and two boys Drew 17 and John 13 have endured alot this past year. They need prayers for strength right now, thanks. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| My heart just broke today in church while watching Kim's boys there all alone. Kevin is with Kim right now and Drew has really stepped up to help out. I saw John blinking back tears during our singing. They got an abundance of hugs after service. Please keep the family in prayer this week. They have only asked for prayers for Kims comfort and peace. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| It's never easy to lose a parent, but I think losing one during adolescence is extremely tough. They continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. | |

| Kim has been moved back home. They are asking for no visits or anymore food right now. They are just trying to be close during these last few days. I'll keep you posted. | Kim passed away yesterday Oct. 27th. Her funeral will be Tuesday. Thank you all for the prayers. Please continue them for her husband and boys. I will always remember Kim as a wonderful Christian example who God gave beautiful blue eyes. She will be missed by many. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. | I am asking for your continued prayers for the Vincent family . Its only been 5 months since Kim's death and its been a struggle for Kevin and the boys to be at church. I looked over this morning and Kevin was putting his arm around Johns (13) shoulder. John was crying and trying hard to just wipe the tears away. He just seems to have a very hard time during our singing. He didn't really want comfort from his Dad, and its my guess that he is entering a very angry stage...besides just tired of being sad all the time. Please pray for them all but especially young John right now. They all need their faith strengthened and to be able to see God's hand in their lives. Thanks so much... Being in church is very emotional after a loss. I remember when I miscarried I just couldn't make it through a mass without crying, hard as I may. That went on for months and months after the loss. And then I'd think I was OK and had 'healed' from it, and would break down again. Grief is a process. Good for them that they are still turning to God for strength. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
