Good point.
It's not actually true, but that's what made the fact fun.

No, I was actually hoping for the Tigers to win so we can make the game more interesting... but alas... maybe tomorrow... or maybe not... because.....

Yeah....nobody likes a blow-out. But this is the reason Bill & I never really care for World Series and Superbowls...that's usually exactly what they are! Oh well...we have one more game anyway.

I read that the Tigers current team batting average in this series is the fourth worst in history. What a wonderful time for a team-wide slump.

This is one time that I really think that the layoff KILLED them. The Giants came in from a hot winning streak and were at the peak of their game.

A similar thing happened to the Tigers in 2006. They had a long layoff and lost to the Cardinals in the Series. This year, Leyland handled things differently, with lots of practice and intrasquad games... and so far it's been exactly the same result.

And yes, the Giants picked up right where they left off after the St. Louis series.

Yikes. At least tonight 'feels' better, so far anyway. Schertzer is doing quite well.
