Teresa, we started out with some snow, but now it's all melted and it's raining and gloomy. Bill is making dinner and my birthday cake for tonight (we're having the whole family over), so I have to try to find the energy to clean during this. Not going to be a very 'relaxing' bday, but we went to breakfast and church and so far it has been a lovely day. (despite the weather).


Lisa, what you wrote is so precious to me. I just read it aloud to Bill and I shouldn't have done that because it made me cry. There goes my make-up! You know I feel the same way about you. This birthday is even more special, I'd say, simply because our friendship is even stronger now, having gone through both the good times and bad times together. What would I do without you????

Ooooh NO!!! You just HAD to post a pic of the peanut butter treats! Bill is going to Meijer right now to get a few more things, so I may just have to send him on a hunt for more of these!

*Happy sigh*, it's been a busy day! But oh so good. Bill's dinner and cake turned out awesome, and my two nephews (and one of their girlfriends) came over too. One of my nephew's bdays was last week, so we did a combined celebration thing...it was SO nice having them here.
