Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

I will do that. Next year I am going to decorate the tree with popcorn and cranberry garland and make gingerbread men tied on the tree with ribbon. I did that one year and it was beautiful and gave a LH type Christmas feeling to the house.

Merry Christmas, everybody! We're not getting any fresh snow, but we got about eight inches a few days ago, so we'll definitely be having a white Christmas.

I posted this on my FB page, but thought I'd post it here too. We sang a version of Silent Night at our midnight mass that I had never heard before. Such a appropriate and beautiful words. The first verse is traditional, so I will start with the second:
