She's scheduled to have a pre-surgery checkup in May, and they're thinking that they'll do the surgery in late May or early June. She's on three different blood pressure meds right now, and it seems to be keeping it steady, thank God. One doctor told me that he thinks it's possible that the swelling in her aorta (because it's pressing against her kidney) may be at least partially responsible for her hypertensive issues. The entire descending aorta is going to need to be replaced. Play Hangman!!! :) - Page 14 184143

The surgeon said that it's a very rare procedure, and takes at least ten hours - and of course it's open-heart. And thank you so much for the prayers!
