Thanks to Dave, I was watching "The Silent Cry" this weekend...and when Charles mussed up Albert's hair towards the end, I burst out laughing!

Oh!  Phoebe, I bet you mean when we talk about "fifing."  Is that it?  Okay, here goes.  There was an old American comedy show called "The Andy Griffith Show."  One of the characters was Barney Fife.  He was a bumbling, small-town deputy, but he fancied himself a top-notch lawman. 

 

Years ago on this board, I turned into Barney Fife and began "ticketing" people for spelling errors.   That's where we got the term "fifing."  These days I mostly just do it to annoy Dave.

Im still in Mexico and leave day after tomorrow, but just had to peek in. The Silent Cry Muss Julie was one of the best! Pay close attention and youll see that Matt is holding Mikes hand! Probably the best muss ever! Dont Fife me Rob, Ive had three Gin and Tonics after fishing all day, plus I,m on a Mexican keyboard. NOT GOOD! I,ve missed you guys!

For someone who's had 3 gin and tonics (I bet more by this point)...this is probably the best you've ever "spelled!"
