I was wondering... has anyone on here ever had a penpal? Mail3

I've had several- a children's horse magazine I used to get offered a penpal program to its subscribers, and over the years that I got the magazine I had several penpals. I still write to one of them too. I think it's fun to have a friend to write to, and I look forward to getting letters and cards in the mail. The one penpal that still writes to me is from Minnesota- I think it would be really neat to write to someone from a different country! But right now one of my friends is studying abroad, and we've been sending letters back and forth so I guess that counts too Smile

I have one. We actually met through facebook though. We had a mutual friend & became friends that way. The two of us enjoy vintage things, so that was the common ground that led us to being good friends. She is not in another country though, she lives in Texas. I have many friends in different countries, but we usually just write through the computer. I met most of them through Youtube.

This person wasm't really a penpal.But when my best friend moved when i was in high school we worte to eacher in the mail to keep in touch.It was fun and i looked forward to getting mail each day. I just usually keep in touch and talk to my online friends on FB. I couldn't aford all the stamps to send all the mailLOL
