I was 4 years old when the show came on. Hard to believe it will be 40 years next year. I will never get tired of watching the show.

Guess who's going to WG next July? Finally getting to meet my diva pals, see some LIW sites, and meet Dean!!! 

I can't wait to meet you Cheryl and spend time in WG. It's going to be such a wonderful weekend. I'm excited!!

She's the heart in a sense. I would think if the Melissa's didn't go or Matthew Laborteaux, I wouldn't spend a lot of money to go...if they were closer, yes. I'd like to see Karen Grassle and Dean but it's too far for me.

I think the apathy of some toward the show after it ended made reunion shows hard. I don't know why, the Walton's cast is different, but so many are missing now, it would be nice to have everyone left together.

I know it sounds catty, but if MG wrote the LHOP book she had planned on in 2011, answering questions, etc. I bet she would go to push the book, but alas she didn't.

Photos from Melissa's new home...reminds me a little of LHOP...she has a bunch of public instagrams on her twitter page. Thought there might be info about trip but then I read here, she wasn't going.

I can't believe I am just seeing this thread now!! but this LHOTP reunion sounds so exciting! I don't think I'd be able to go to it, I live too far away and it would cost too much to travel there right now. so I hope everyone that is going will take lots of pictures!

does anyone know if members of the LHOTP cast ever worked together after Little House went off the air? I remember an episode of Highway to Heaven that Matthew Laborteaux was in... but I wasn't sure if other cast members had every done something like that after LHOTP ended

The Only other production I know of is "The Loneliest Runner" that Michael produced and acted in with Melissa Anderson in 1976.

Dean Butler appeared in an episode of Jag with Patrick Labyorteaux in 2003.
