When she still had her old house, one bedroom was FULL of dolls......it FREAKED my boys out and they refused to stay in that room....having so many eyes watching you sleep was more than they could handle......

I guess I don't know the going prices for old used items in your area.....I was SHOCKED at the price on the claw..and that child's chair! OH MY!!! Used things are supposed to be cheaper than when they were first purchased as new....so I thought!  

  Well, once it's considered antique, that whole, "But it's used!" argument holds no weight with sellers.

Yep, now if he was at a garage sale, he'd be like $2.00, lol. At the MOST.  But being an antique store, someone thinks old Clyde is quite valuable.  For some reason! 

Before I saw anyone else's guess, I was going to say $32. It seems that a few of us are right in there, so we'll see. If anything, it's going to be higher, not much lower. You may want to put another number in front of your "9," Rhonda. Ha!

 I really didn't think it was going to be that much, even at antique store pricing. I wonder if he is an actual 'character' from way back when, that we're not aware of?  But I'm with you Teresa...if someone gave that to me it would be sent off to either Goodwill or the garbage can!

So, I'm confused....are these things being found at the Goodwill store or an Antique store????  The first post in this thread says Goodwill, so I have been going with thrift store prices.....now, I see these are in antiques stores....

Oh, I guess they're at both places!  Lisa will have to start mentioning which place things are coming from...we're at both thrift stores and antique stores from time to time.  But it does make a difference for sure, on the pricing!  However, I have a junky thrift store that THINKS it's an antique store.  They price half their things ridiculously!!  Hello, I have NO money, hence why I shop at thrift stores??? Helloooooo???  LOL
