Just thought I would throw in the ultimate television hero of the late fifties. No kid in America missed an episode of this every week!

I have quite a few episodes of that on DVD, Dave! While I was waiting for the picture to load, I was wondering if you were referring to Superman or Zorro. HeeHee

I have the whole series of Zorro on DVD, and watch it through at least once a year. I just love it.

Zorro was my childhood hero. Possibly the coolest superhero to come out of California in the 19th century. yes

I agree! I went to the Disneyland grand opening in '59. My Dad worked out there for two years building it. He did the rock cutting on The Matterhorn. I got to meet Guy Williams (Zorro)! Was quite a thrill. Of course, the biggest thrill was seeing Annette in person! Those were the days!

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I'm officially jealous (in a friendly way, of course greenS  ) that you got to meet Guy Williams!! I got to know his son rather well through letters, but I always wished that I'd had a chance to meet Guy, either through letters or in person.

Just because you were a teenager in the 30's and missed out on the modern times is no reason to snivel!

Thanks for sharing the old photos. I love the school picture. School has change over the years. Now, kids are using ipads. You don't see a chalk board anymore.
