Not Again David!
LOS ANGELES – Seventies heartthrob David Cassidy has been arrested in Southern California on suspicion of drunken driving.

The California Highway Patrol says the 63-year-old Cassidy was pulled over Friday, January 10th, near Los Angeles International Airport after an officer spotted him making an illegal right turn against a red light.

He was arrested after the officer smelled alcohol in the rental car.

Cassidy was released Saturday morning on $15,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 5.

Last year Cassidy was pulled over in New York on suspicion of driving drunk. He also has a 2011 DUI conviction in Florida.

Cassidy appeared in TV's "The Partridge Family" from 1970 to '74 and was a recording star and teen idol.

A call seeking comment from Cassidy's publicist was not immediately returned.

The Pressure Led to a Brief Relapse!

David Cassidy was arrested for drunk driving on Friday night, which made it his third arrest for this same thing in three different states! After the news broke, the 63-year-old entertainer’s publicist Jo-Ann Geffen explained the situation to Entertainment Tonight, saying: “David [Cassidy] just completed a stint in rehab and was doing very well in sobriety. He was in Los Angeles to attend depositions by Sony Pictures Television, respondents in a lawsuit filed by Cassidy in 2011 over what he claims are monies long due him from Partridge Family merchandise, home video, etc. After attending his and his manager’s depositions, it appears as if the pressure led to a brief relapse. He was on his way to the airport to return to his home in Florida and to transitional rehabilitation. He plans now to return to rehab in an undisclosed facility.” Wow! Those depositions must have been pretty intense! Thankfully, Cassidy is looking for some help, and not avoiding the issue. Recovery takes time, but we’re rooting for this to be his last rehab stay! -

Hope things turn around for him. He should have been on LH instead.

I hope he really gets help this time! I'm just thankful that the cops have caught him all 3 times before he was able to hurt anyone!
