Subject: I'm Back! Tue Nov 12, 2013 1:04 pm

Hi all...I'm back after being ill for a few days. Short version: I woke up last Wednesday w/severe stomach aches, went to the ER, and was admitted into the hospital. After a C scan, they diagnosed me with Acute Enteritis (and there was nothing "cute" about it! hahaha). Sorry. Haven't lost my weird sense of humor yet. Anyway, I'm feeling MUCH better now, have been back at work since yesterday, and now my Gastroenterologist talked to me and said I could stop taking antibiotics (thank God! those made me feel absolutely awful). He also said I can slowly start to eat normally again...after I was put on a liquid/bland diet, and it was getting to me after a while. I am HUNGRY! I am ready for a HAMBURGER! Okay, I won't go that far just yet, but I am having a turkey sandwich now and so far, so good!

Anyway, it's so good to be back...and to those who knew about my illness already and sent prayers, e-mails, etc...THANK YOU! That means a whole lot! Prayers still needed for a clean bill of health..I have a follow-up visit with the doctor this Thursday.

Hope you're all doing well...I know I've been quiet for a while. I haven't forgotten any of you or this forum in general! There's just been many things going on with me these past few months. I do come in here once in a while and "lurk!" LOL

February was a particularly bad month, but things are better now. I am going to try my best to not be such a stranger!
