| Hi everyone!
I thought I would share some photos of my new puppy, Duke.  Some of you who are my friends on Facebook have probably already seen the photos, but I wanted to share with my prairie family as well.
We lost our beloved dog Esther this past Christmas Eve. It was absolutely devastating & heartbreaking to us, a total shock because we never saw it coming. She was only eight years old We were already still trying to cope with the loss of our fifteen year old cat, Midnight who passed away in August. Prior to her passing, one of my guinea pigs passed away earlier in the year. Anyways, (I didn't mean to get into all that) we felt that if we were meant to have another dog, God would have to have His hand on it. Well, recently a friend of our's contacted us to say that one of her family members dogs had had puppies & was going to give them away free, full blooded German Shepherd puppies at that! We felt that this was God's answer to our prayer. So to make a bit of a long story short....meet Duke!  His full name is Duke Clover. (I always have to give pets a middle name). The reason it is Clover is because he loves laying, rolling, & sleeping in the clover around our house.
