This may be of special interest to the Michiganders on the board. Intrepid local TV host Holly Baker checks an item off her bucket list by climbing to the top of one of the towers on the Mackinac Bridge... 552 feet above the water. I have a serious fear of heights, so seeing what she did at 2:20 nearly made me plotz. The girl's got guts!

Oh my gosh!! One of the men from my church did that when he turned 70, and I've wanted to do that ever since!! Maybe someday!

It's funny. When they showed this on the news, the anchorman said that when Holly stepped up on the rail, he nearly reached toward the screen to grab onto her jacket. I had the same reaction watching the video.

Holly is adorable! And wow, oh so courageous! I *think* I might be able to do this....Lisa, we'll put this on our bucket list of things to do together. I don't have a huge fear of heights really...it's more a fear of actually FALLING, like being on a roller coaster---I'd rather DIE. No lie, lol! But this---I think this might be pretty awesome.
