Who are you Named after?

Who are you named after any LHOTP Peopel?

No I was Named after my Grandpa or my Onkels because i had two Onkels that were name the same but they were not Brothers

But My Niece is Name Luella Rose But not name after Rose Wilder but still Rose is Rose

I'm not named for anybody. My Mom wanted to name me after her beloved Grandma. But my Dad balked at the name. He loved Mom's Grandma, too. Just as much as if she were his own blood-relative. She was a wonderful, caring, precious woman.......but her name.......... well....it was just beginning to become very well known throughout the country, as the name of a very spoiled, ill-mannered, poorly behaved girl. And he was worried that people would treat me, or see me, as that girl.





So, I didn't end up getting named after my Great-Grandma, whose name was Nellie.

Umm..Nopes! Well kind of.. last part of my name "ann" My mother wan't to name my anna-maria (how ever that is spelled) but my father said no! cuz he thought it was close to my cousins middle name *rolls eyes* So then my grandmother (my momthers side) want to name me "kristina" so my mother just put to names together and thats how my name kris-ann came about but i rather be called my nickname krissy! The werid thing is i would of loved to be called "kristina'

A friend of our family had a little girl about a year before I was born and her name was Kathy, so that is why they named me Kathy...

I'm actually named after a person from a book...

Oh i forgot to add something My Mom Wanted to Call Alvin I would Like that Name so Much But my Dad Wanted Name Me after my moms Dad

Named after my Pop. Nothing exciting. That's about it.

I love the name Jacob. It's on my mental list of names that I might name a baby boy, if I were ever to have a baby.

Most of my online friends call me Rose.

I don't mind my name now as an adult, but it was sure a hard name to have as a kid!
I remember my first day at a new school in the 1st grade and the kids singing "Rain Rain go away!"

I'm named after Vanessa Redgrave, for my mother had just watched the "Isadora Duncan's movie" and had liked it sooo much. I must go without the second "s" for , in my country you cannot bear a foreign name who has translation in Spanish. For example you may christen a baby with the name "Solange", for there is not an equivalent in our language, but you can't christen her as "Carol", for you have "Carola" or "Carolina" in Spanish.And since "Vanesa" exist in Spanish I must go without an "s", but in fact I like my name with a single "s". No; I don't have a middle name, and I am sorry for most of the people has one...

My brother was christened Maximiliano for the Bavarian King Maximilian, uncle of Empress Sissi of Austria...My mother has watched the movies with Rommy Schneider in them, and then , read a lot about this woman and his family. So, my brother must bear such a name. And, no...No middle name in his case, either. He used to pretend his name was "Maximiliano Martín" (for his closest friend was named "Martín"), but of course, it wasn't.

I'm not named after anyone, although one of my middle names Joseph is shared with Dad.

And No Savannah, you ain't calling me Alexander Joseph.

i have a middle name.

My Grandmother was "Julia Virginia Davis Westbrook". So my first and middle is after my Grandmother.
