Prayers for Casey, please

My golden retriever, Casey, has been suffering from dizzy spells for the past couple of months. They've gotten very bad, and I have to take her to a specialist today. If the spells can be controlled with medication, we'll go that route, but we've decided that if surgery is needed, we won't put her through that. She had two surgeries in her younger days, and they were very difficult for her.

Please say a prayer for Casey. Thanks.

Something came up, so I won't be taking Casey to the specialist for another day or two. She seems to be doing pretty well today, though. Thanks again for the prayers!

Bless her heart. I'm sorry that Casey is having a rough time. I'm glad that she is feeling better. My thoughts and prayers are with Casey and YOU, Rob. Our pets become like family. When they are feeling sick---I get the same feeling as I do with one of my kids. Again----I hope and pray that, Casey is feeling better real soon.

Thanks, everybody. Casey went to the Rainbow Bridge about half an hour ago. The vet came and ended her suffering.

Oh, Rob, I'm so sorry to hear about Casey. I forgot that your dog was female. I just sent you a pm, commenting on how much I like your avatar, and I referred to her as a male. Casey will be in my prayers. How old is she again?

Rob, we just posted at the same time. I am so sorry for your loss. Pets are such an important part of our families. You had said earlier that she was having a better day. I'm assuming that she suddenly took a turn for the worse? You will be in my prayers. I'm sure that Casey had a very wonderful life with you.

Thanks, Teresa. She turned seven last August. She started out the day fairly well, but went downhill fast. She spent the afternoon on the deck, unable to even sit up. The vet thinks it was probably a brain tumor.
