That is amazing. I did notice, while reading the article, another story that says she died after falling and breaking her hip. But still, she definitely lead a full life! It was interesting to read the article and hear about some of the things she attributed to her longevity, as well as seeing the timeline of events that occurred during her lifetime.

Holy cow! How does this even happen?!?! I couldn't believe when I saw the pic of her at 100 years old in 1979!

Well there ya have it! Wow, to think she's never seen a doctor OR tasted a sweet?!?! Maybe I'm ok with not living to be 130.

Wow. You know what I find truly remarkable, besides her age? The age of her grand-daughter. Did you see that?? Her grand-daughter is 42. So that means that the 130-year-old woman's daughter gave birth when Mrs. Super-Elderly was about 88. That's pretty cool.

What's also amazing is that she was 60 when World War II started.

Truly remarkable. I have to think of all the hardship she has gone through though---I can only imagine all the people she has loved and lost over the years.
