Watched the first disc yesterday. Great picture quality! This may be the greatest line written in Little House History!

Love it!!  

And wait till you see that GOLD!

Sweet episode. I could see me doing that with my friend Ricky when I was a kid....can't wait to get season 2.

I just watched the camp out episode on disc 2 DVD .I love the quality and the deleted scenes. Remember me had a touching scene with Laura running to her pa after Caroline spoke to her at her favorite place. I hope season 3 comes soon. I got season 2 DVD on Friday and I have watched up to disc 3. I just cannot stop watching.

Here's A Couple of of restored scenes I caught in Remember Me......

Right After Julia Sanderson see's Doc Baker.....She walks over the hill and sees Charles plowing the field. Just before she tells him that she is going to die...................................  




This scene happened immediately after Charles tells Ms. Farnsworth that she can adopt Alecia, he visits Julia Sanderson's grave just prior to going down to the Sanderson kids to tell them they are going to be split up......

And the scene just talked about, Laura running to Pa after talking to Caroline......

Some Later episodes in Blu Ray well beyond Season Two in the documentary. It's obvious they are doing ALL nine seasons!

This is a shot from Blu Ray Centenniel... Lisa Pera, Radames Pera's real mother, played Ike Eisenmann's Mother twice. In this and Harriet's Happenings......

I got my dvd's today and am half way through the pilot movie. I have this on vhs and I think it might have been the whole show. I haven't seen any new scenes. But I'm looking forward to getting into the series and finding some new nuggets. I began watching the show when it was in the 3rd or 4th season so I will immediately recognize the cut scenes. Can't wait!

I'm enjoying Season 1 of the new dvd's.  I watch the new ones on my big new computer screen and the old dvd's on a portable dvd players.  This way I can see where the new scenes are and what we have been mission out on all there years.  
The very first difference I found was in Country Girls.  The old disc shows Sandy Kennedy going up to the front after Laura is done giving her presentation.  This isn't shown on the new discs.  
The picture quality is so much better than the old ones, it's amazing.
I haven't watched any Little House episode in a long time so going back to the beginning is a real treat.  I have been watching with special interest the actions of Baby Carrie.  She is so cute and the twins that play her are only 3 years old in Season 1.  Carrie does have a few lines here and there but its the background stuff that she is doing that is so cute, they did a good job for such little girls.

Well I am down to the last disc of season 2 and still wating for season 3 and 4 deluxe edition DVD and Blu ray release schedule

I think Laura and Albert are my 2 top favorite characters.

Dave, I for one, couldn't afford to pay for all seasons at once so I'm glad that they are coming out slowly. This way we can enjoy each one as it comes.

I know Marilyn.........just playin around, one at a time is better, but if they want to release 4 and 5 together, I won't complain!

Has anyone down the Ultraviolet redeem thing? I did it through Vudu. My question is, when I download an episode to my ipad, is it just like watching a YouTube video where it just plays from site or is it like iTunes where it downloads right into your tablet?

I used Flixster...its really pretty cool....you sign in to your account, and all the episodes are there. Its like you tube, but pic quality is much better...

I got them to show up in my Vudu app on the ipad but when I push Download, it just sits there and twirls forever instead of loading and playing.
Very frustrated.
