Same here - we didn't have any snow at 5 o'clock, but it's sure coming down now.

Isn't that crazy?! It happened SO fast! My hubby's already been out there snow-blowing! That's his big thing each year...can't wait to break out that thing! It's a very WET snow...he came in absolutely drenched!!

I am losing tree branches left and right. HUGE branches are snapping like twigs, it is THAT heavy!! You can hear all the trees creaking outside---so weird!

That's exactly what it was like up here when it snowed in October. Since then, we've had unseasonably warm temps. Today it was nearly 70!

We didn't get any. I saw on tv last night the schools were closing in the Battle Creek area. They must have gotten a lot to close the night before.

we got frost today.

We were lucky and didn't lose our power. Whew! Here's a few pics that I took this morning:

I'm so glad too! We've lost a ton of snow, and thankfully many of the branches are bouncing back. I'm mainly concerned with my crabapple, as it's still fairly young. Hope it's ok.

Thanks Alex...taken out my kitchen window! I'm glad I got these pics when I did...by noon we'd lost a majority of the snow off of them.

Sometimes I wish we had snow...but sometimes I don't. I've NEVER seen it IRL.

There's a foreign exhange student at my son's school and this was the first time she's ever seen snow. We literally went from NO flakes at 5pm. yesterday to THIS by 7:30pm or so. My son said she wrote on her facebook how she was freaking out! I can imagine that would be QUITE the shock, to see this much snow for the first time ever!

Yes, I had posted some pictures on FB too and knew you missed them because of what was going on with your mom. You were just a tad distracted! Just another way the good Lord was watching over you all, that we got dumped with the snow and spared you anything to speak of.

Woke up to two inches of snow this morning! Yay! :) I went out for an hour to do some bonding with Floyd and this is one of the results.

Same,Some days sure was very warm. Some places in canada has gotten snow.I'am sure torontro will get hit with lots of snow.

Here is just the opposite. We are having very COLD days right in the middle of the Summer. Some days are milder...but still it is odd.
