| Do you think Ken K. has some sight issues? When he was standing in the room when he was arrested he acted as if he was almost blind. Guess I've watched Melissa S. Anderson too much. They do film him sitting alot so I was just wondering. He's sharp with his lines, but not always on target with who he has the scene with.... Something to watch I guess.
Yes, I'm ready for the next season too. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart

| HMMMM well that's interesting. I had a feeling something was different. It will be interesting how much he is in this next season then. | I knew there was something wrong with him. In fact, I suspected something was wrong with him several years ago when they aired that Dallas Reunion Movie back in the 90's. | |

| Patrick Duffy was kind in an interview, just said he was glad Ken was able to return at his age and have some fun...he is old and if he has issues, it might not be alcohol, it might be other things.
I will give it a try next season, not much on I like, but if it's just John Ross having affairs and Emma sleeping with him while acting like a victim, I will get bored quickly. They can do a lot with the talent they have, but John Ross isn't really JR..he had a charm and charisma that can't be duplicated. Sue Ellen might hit bottom again, but it would be better to have her beat this "falling off the horse" and not repeat past shows.
I know the land and who really owns it will be front stage and I wish they didn't make JR have to be the scab again....but I think they feel he is the glue now, and want his name stamped every so often on the show.
I think I will watch it again this week, more slowly and I get to FF through the commercials which is always nice. : )

| Teresa, you must fill a LARGE bra with popcorn before you watch. Its the only way to get the FULL affect. It is the lack of Christianity that has brought us where we are. Not a lack of churches or religious forms but of the real thing in our hearts. LIW.....Words From a Fearless Heart | |

| What????????? No way!! I think that the writing and storylines have been fabulous, even after Larry passed away. They just ended with a great season finale. Gin and I are kindred "Dallas watcher" spirits. Very sad............... | |

| I couldn't watch it after Larry died, but my coworker was a big fan. I had a feeling this would happen, no one in my opinion could hold Larry Hagman's candle. I'm sorry for the continuing fans though. | |

| And just when John Ross was getting evil! Too bad! "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time." | |

| I was even softening towards Emma! Never thought that would happen in a million years. John Ross did an amazing job with his character. And then there's Judith Light. The character you most love to hate. She did a great job. So, so evil!! | |

| I couldn't get into this remake. Maybe I should have tried more than one episode. | |

| I'M not shocked it got cancelled. You can't really re-make a classic show. That sucks for the people who liked it.
Yeah, maybe the ratings went down when Larry died. “Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it... Yet.” ― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables

| I got really upset when I heard about this...especially the way it ended! It was going to be hard to deal with Christopher's death, since Jesse Metcalfe decided to leave the show. I was looking forward to John Ross next season. I love the way he told his family to stop saying he was just like J.R...and that he's actually WORSE! I was looking forward to just how "worse" he was going to be.
I wish they can at least make a 2 hour movie or something to wrap up these loose ends. What a bummer!

| I never cared much for the Dallas remake. I feel bad for the fans and the actors from the show now that will be without of a job. I like the old version of Dallas. Bobby is my favorite. I liked Jock and Miss Ellie. | |
