| Here is a link to a short bio of EJ: http://www.laurasprairiehouse.com/family/elizajanewilder.html William Anderson has a short booklet titled Wilder in the West which centers around EJ. It is available at Rocky Ridge Farm and I think on Bill's site. You can order it through Amazon but it takes forever to get it. Ebay is also an option. Every once in a while they have an autographed copy available for around $10 plus shipping, but I don't know if it's authentic. The book usually costs $4.95. Cheryl | |

| She really was quite a pretty lady, but very domineering. | |

| I think she looks like she'd be a really sweet Grandma. I guess Roger Lea MacBride lucked out!! He later became her sole heir even though they really weren't related. | |

| Wasn't Roger, Rose's heir? I didn't think he even knew EJ. | |

Beckie Yes, she was. I think I remember reading in an interview that Lucy purposely wanted to make her a nicer, sweeter person. When she came back in Season 8 for those two episodes, she seemed more like what I've read about the real EJ than the one we loved while she lived in Walnut Grove. I was disappointed in this change of character. | |

| Yep. I think that s good to make some changes, IF you keep persons in their characters. Eliza jane was so different than the real one that you could not believe what you are reading when you gets a bio on her. The show did a bad job related to her. Pa and Ma (from the show) were pretty much in their real life characters even if their actions are not always in the real story. Is for that , that even if I know I'm seeing not the whole truth, I keep enjoying the show. Vanesa. | |
