I found a really interesting documentary on the LH show yesterday while browsing youtube. This was just put together by a Little House fan on youtube, and he goes into some details about filming LH that I have not heard before. He also has a few pictures that were from on the set that I had never seen before either. Enjoy!

All I really remember is the drunk guy setting his breath on fire. So there's that.

You are welcome, Toby, glad you enjoyed it! I know, the picture quality didn't look bad on that old TV in the video... I bet it would look worse if you were right there!

I was trying to be funny. I think they took the video from the remastered version and inserted it into the picture of the old TV.

I think you are right! It does seem that it is remastered and then inserted into the old TV.

I noticed that the documentary said there were 204 episodes. Its actually confusing trying to figure out how many episodes there were or to find two websites that agree. Here are a few examples.
If you count them as they originally aired on NBC, I think the Hallmark Channel number of 200 is most accurate. It doesn't count the movies or The Little House Years special and it counts the four episodes (The Lord is My Shepherd, Gold Country, May We Make Them Proud, and Home Again) that originally aired in a two-hour time slot on NBC as one episode. It also counts the hour and a half episodes as one episode.
Little House Scenery almost counts them almost the same except for the fact that it counts The Little House Years special as three episodes to push the number to 203.
Wikipedia doesn't count the movies or The Little House Years special, but counts the four two-hour episodes as two episodes each to come up with 204.
I'm not trying to criticize the documentary, but just pointing out that it gets confusing trying go figure out how many episodes there were. I've also seen counts much lower than two hundred at sites that counted all the two part episodes as one episode.

Thanks too for making us aware of the video. I wonder if Elliot Robinson is or has ever been active on the forum here? It is nice to see someone put so much passionate time and effort into the 'cause' ! Thanks
