| Dickie and Jean were among the few Rascals to make it to old age and die of natural causes. There's been talk of a Little Rascals curse.
- Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer: Shot to death at the age of 31 in an argument over $50.
- William "Buckwheat" Thomas: Died of a heart attack at 49.
- Robert "Wheezer" Hitchins: Killed at 19 when his plane crashed while training as an Army Air Corps pilot.
- Matthew "Stymie" Beard: A heroin addict who was in and out of prison and died of pneumonia at 56.
- Darla Hood: Contracted hepatitis while in the hospital for minor surgery and died at 47.
- Norman "Chubby" Chaney: Suffered from a glandular weight problem and passed away at 18.
- Scotty Beckett: Alcoholic and drug addict who committed suicide at 38.
- William "Froggy" Laughlin: Struck and killed by a truck while delivering newspapers at 16.
- Dorothy Dandridge: Committed suicide at 41 after losing her money in a phony investment scam.
Ironically, the creator of the Little Rascals, Hal Roach, died of pneumonia in 1992, two months shy of his 101st birthday. | |

| No, but they sent him a Valentine, Birthday Greeting and a Bottle of Wine! And I ask you, who could ask for more at 64? "Albert, do you REALLY think you are old enough to know what love is?" "I must be Pa. I love you, I have for a long time." | |

| Well I'd like to do the garden, dig the weeds... maybe even handily mend a fuse when the lights have gone. But that's just me. | |

| Robert Blake is still with us. Although not an original Rascal, he was in the series from 1939-1944. Jackie Cooper lived to be 88 years old Not only was he a Rascal, he had a successful career in movies including the 70's 80's Superman films as Perry White. Tommy Bond played Butch and lived to be 79. Stymie Beard looked the same as an adult. Here he is with Spank. I remember seeing Stymie on Good Times when I was a kid. I said to my parents "Look there's Stymie!" My dad say "It sure is, he looks the same". It was the episode where James died. Stymie also appeared on Sanford & Son. | |

| Oh! I didn't know that Stymie was on Good Times and Sanford & Son! And he really did look the same as an adult. | |
