Looks like Laura is tickled by the shirt also. : ) Must have hard in all that dust to keep all the white clothes clean!

I like Mary's hair although the curls are probably a wig or "fall" as they called extensions back then. When I was 13, I had a similar style for a wedding I was in.

There was a story in a memory post about Michael Landon, where a fan says she snuck in Simi Valley where they were filming and sat up on the hill overlooking Walnut Grove and watched them film. Later, she met some of the cast and even got a picture, they were kind to her, probably in part because she didn't interfere with filming.

Must have been fun!
