The Simpsons Movie

Has anybody seen it? If so, did you like it?

I want too. Our Springfield is in the running to host the upcoming premier of the new Simpsons Movie.....we lost. What state won? Anyone know?

I am not really a cartoon fan. But I do like The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. That show cracks me up! The humor in it is so odd.

I'm sure that you'll all be stunned........ *rolls eyes* I've never seen The Simpsons. I don't think I could even name all of the characters. I could name a couple, because I've heard them referenced in the news (of all places!) and in jokes.

That's the one show I'm not sure I could live without. :think:

I think I want to go see it. I´m a new and fresh fan of the Simpsons... just my sense of humour. I definately love Homer´s "Doooh"

A newspaper here gave the movie 7 out of 6 possible stars... apparantly a must-see movie.

Just a bit of trivia...

Simpsons creator Matt Groening borrowed Homer's trademark "D'oh!" from James Finlayson, an actor who was in a bunch of films with Laurel & Hardy back in the '30s and '40s. Whenever L&H annoyed him, Finlayson's character would do this long, drawn-out "d'ohhhhh!"

Groening gave the word to Homer, but, as he said, in cartoons things have to happen fast, so he shortened it to the more compact "D'oh!"

Now you know... the rest of the story. Good DAY!

I went to that website and downloaded my picture, but it wouldn't do what it said it would do. It kept coming up with an error message, and I used a close-up, front view picture just like they said......

Did you know that the voice of Bart, Lisa, and Marge is the same person. It's a female! In Voice Over, they use women's voices a lot because they can make themselves sound like a young boy, lol. Pretty interesting!

Hey, I watched it last week and I loved it. I've never been too much into Simpsons, but since we wnet with a couple of friends, I joined them. I was so glad I did! it was awesom - I laughed so hard!
