Few movies rivaled it at the the time. It was right up there with Plan 9 From Outer Space! Rob can attest to that!

The Pennsylvanian played the sheriff in George A. Romero's iconic 1968 zombie film and put in $600 of his own money to help get the movie made.

Night of the Living Dead is a classic. Still scares me to this day. Oh boy... I just started watching it on YouTube and will probably be sitting here for another hour and a half. I blame you, Dave. yes
