I don't think I ever have. But I had a friend who lived fairly close by, near a swampy area, and he said he heard them all the time.
Not-so-fun fact: A 19-year-old Canadian folksinger named Taylor Mitchell is the only known adult fatality of a coyote attack. She was mauled to death while hiking in Nova Scotia in 2009.
