What a beautiful song, Dave! I never heard this one before. Sweet song! They just don't write 'em like this anymore...

Heard this one on the radio today. It was really hard to NOT sing along (I was in the office). What memories! One of my favorite all time bands (and my very first concert, 1983 Miami Orange Bowl). I'm singing it NOW!

Let's go back to the 70's tonight! They've been posting a whole bunch of wonderful music from that decade on a FB 70's group I belong to! I may have been raised in Miami, but since I was born in NYC, I'll always be a New Yorker at heart! I've loved this one since I was a kid. My mom actually grew up there, so this song means a lot to her as well.

They are kicking butt over on FB tonight! This is absolutely the last one for tonight (and then I'm really going to sleep!). These songs just make me want to DANCE. (Hey, do kids still do that? Dance, I mean...).

Oh wow, I love Herb Alpert's "Route 101!" As I listen to this, I can't help but think of my grandma. She loved listening to Mr. Alpert, and was particularly fond of this song. I miss her so much! My favorite from him is "Rise." Another great instrumental is Chuck Mangione's "Feel So Good."

I love him too. I also love Rise. My Grandparents got me into his music. They gave me my taste in music. When I listen to these songs, takes me back to such a happier time in my life, and when they were still with me.
