| I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love music and dancing, was in choir all four years of high school, sang at church, etc., have a fairly decent soprano voice, but my dancing, I compare it to Elaine in Seinfeld....(nuff said..) | |

| Was this song mentioned before?
"Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood
Right now he's probably slow dancing with a bleached-blond tramp, and she's probably getting frisky... right now, he's probably buying her some fruity little drink cause she can't shoot whiskey...
Right now, he's probably up behind her with a pool-stick, showing her how to shoot a combo...
And he don't know...
That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up 4 wheel drive, carved my name into his leather seat... I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights, slashed a hole in all 4 tires...
And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.
Right now, she's probably up singing some white-trash version of Shania karoke.. Right now, she's probably saying "I'm drunk" and he's a thinking that he's gonna lucky, Right now, he's probably dabbing 3 dollars worth of that bathroom Polo... And he don't know...
That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up 4 wheel drive, carved my name into his leather seat, I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights, slashed a hole in all 4 tires...
And maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.
I might saved a little trouble for the next girl, Cause the next time that he cheats...
Oh, you know it won't be on me!
Ohh... not on me... Cause I dug my key into the side of his pretty little suped up 4 wheel drive, carved my name into his leather seat... I took a Louisville slugger to both head lights, slashed a hole in all 4 tires...
Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.
Ohh.. Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats...
Ohh... before he cheats... "I would fight for you - I'd lie for you - walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you..."

| Some of the new songs out that I really like: "Big Girls Don't Cry" by Fergie: Da Da Da Da The smell of your skin lingers on me now You're probably on your flight back to your home town I need some shelter of my own protection baby To be with myself and center, clarity Peace, Serenity
[CHORUS:] I hope you know, I hope you know That this has nothing to do with you It's personal, myself and I We've got some straightenin' out to do And I'm gonna miss you like a child misses their blanket But I've got to get a move on with my life It's time to be a big girl now And big girls don't cry Don't cry Don't cry Don't cry
The path that I'm walking I must go alone I must take the baby steps 'til I'm full grown, full grown Fairytales don't always have a happy ending, do they? And I foresee the dark ahead if I stay
[CHORUS]
Like the little school mate in the school yard We'll play jacks and uno cards I'll be your best friend and you'll be my Valentine Yes you can hold my hand if you want to 'Cause I want to hold yours too We'll be playmates and lovers and share our secret worlds But it's time for me to go home It's getting late, dark outside I need to be with myself and center, clarity Peace, Serenity
[CHORUS]
La Da Da Da Da Da
"Moments" by Emerson Drive: I was coming to the end of a long long walk When a man crawled out of a cardboard box Under the E. Street Bridge Followed me on to it I went out halfway across With that homeless shadow tagging along So I dug for some change Wouldn't need it anyway He took it lookin' just a bit ashamed He said, You know, I haven't always been this way
I've had my moments, days in the sun Moments I was second to none Moments when I knew I did what I thought I couldn't do Like that plane ride coming home from the war That summer my son was born And memories like a coat so warm A cold wind can't get through Lookin' at me now you might not know it But I've had my moments
I stood there tryin' to find my nerve Wondering if a single soul on Earth Would care at all Miss me when I'm gone That old man just kept hanging around Lookin' at me, lookin' down I think he recognized That look in my eyes Standing with him there I felt ashamed I said, You know, I haven't always felt this way
I've had my moments, days in the sun Moments I was second to none Moments when I knew I did what I thought I couldn't do Like the day I walked away from the wine For a woman who became my wife And a love that, when it was right, Could always see me through Lookin' at me now you might not know it But I've had my moments
I know somewhere 'round a trashcan fire tonight That old man tells his story one more time He says
I've had my moments, days in the sun Moments I was second to none Moments when I knew I did what I thought I couldn't do Like that cool night on the E. Street Bridge When a young man almost ended it I was right there, wasn't scared a bit And I helped to pull him through Lookin' at me now you might not know it Oh, lookin' at me now you might not know it But I've had my moments
"Hey There, Delilah" by Plain White T's: hey there delilah whats it like in new york city im a thousand miles away but girl tonight you look so pretty yes you do time square cant shine as bright as you i swear its true
hey there delilah dont you worry about the distance im right there if you get lonely give this song another listen close your eyes listen to my voice its my disguise im by your side
oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me what you do to me
hey there delilah i know times are gettin hard but just believe me girl someday ill pay the bills with this guitar we'll have it good we'll have the life we knew we would my word is good
hey there delilah ive got so much left to say if every simple song i wrote to you would take your breath away id write it all even more in love with me youd fall we'd have it all
oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me
a thousand miles seems pretty far but they've got planes and trains and cars id walk to you if i had no other way our friends would all make fun of us and we'll just laugh along because we know that none of them have felt this way delilah i can promise you that by the time that we get through the world will never ever be the same and youre to blame
hey there delilah you be good and dont you miss me two more years and youll be done with school and ill be makin history like i do you know its all because of you we can do whatever we want to hey there delilah heres to you this ones for you
oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me oh its what you do to me "I would fight for you - I'd lie for you - walk the wire for you - ya I'd die for you..."

| I love this song, "The Reason" by "Hoobastank". LOL...never thought in a million years I'd likes a group with a name like THIS!! I've used an X-Files video though, since I really don't like the video by the group. Any X-Files fans out there? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0bx3N5IA8Y(Rob, I thoroughly enjoyed that Beatles video...I've never thought to check them out on YouTube! That was great...gosh, they look so happy singing that song, don't they? ) Oh, and Jacob, I'm not into country, but you're right...that's a good song! The message is so true...kinda makes me sad! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Hey, I remember Bucky well, Jacob. Yet another American Idol contestant who's doing very well for himself. And great song, Amy! I'd heard of Hoobastank, but had never heard any of their songs. It's very catchy. I used to watch the X-Files all the time. I probably saw every episode in syndication. Very good show! | |

| Cool Rob...kind of funny that a Little House/Dr. Quinn girl would like the X-Files, but it's all about the 'chemistry' between characters for me. X-Files had that. I have all the seasons, and watch more for Scully/Mulder than the sci-fi aspect of it. Ok, so I have another one! My favorite cd right now is James Blunt, who is amAzing....I can't think of a song of his I don't like! (he's most popular for "Beautiful", but I thought I'd share a less well known one...quite a catchy tune!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUdBmXeqt6Q“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Beckie, as a fellow Beatlemaniac, maybe you've heard of this song. A little ditty Paul wrote that kind of changed everything. :shifty: Watch at the end where John gives Paul a bouquet of flowers... sort of. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONXp-vpE9eU | |
