school starts

my school starts August 27! i'm sooooo sad!

My boys started last Thrusday the 16th.

wow Susie thats early! i'm in my last year of junior high! *jumps for joy*

We are the 1st to start school here and the 1st to get out too. The boys was excited about going too. What grade is everyone in? My boys are Freshman, 3rd, 1st and kindergarden.

My oldest daughter will start on Aug 29th, which is earlier than most districts around here. Most don't start until after Labor Day. The baby will be heading off to preschool on September 10th. Boo-hoo, no more babies at home all the time.

Yes...It's so sad when the scholar year starts...We should like that summer holidays should last for ever! I, for one, when I was a little girl, I liked when school would begin . I missed my classmates and was dying to know who should be our teacher the current term. Of course, I wanted my holidays back after a week being at school... :shifty:

Well in canada we got off at the end of june and went back in the first week of September! I thought in the states was the same...

My sister started the 13th at the school I just graduated from. Feel so sorry for everyone who´going to school. This is my first year I´m not going to school in 14 years. :woohooo: But then next year I´m on it again

mine will probbally start September 4

I agree 100%. I miss having the boys around fulltime.

Mine start this Wednesday and they will all be in school this year!! My baby starts afternoon kindergarten and I guess I'm in the minority when I say I'll be glad to see my little darlings get on the school bus. The last month has been kind of stressful with arguing children, etc., etc., so I'm looking forward to my quiet house again.

I'm kind of 50/50 on the kids being gone during the day.

I enjoy having them home *most of the time* lol

I'm mostly just sad that the warm pretty days are over and a long rainy winter is in store (I live in Oregon)

Fall and spring are rainy in Oregon too.
Only real sun we get is June-early Sept.

Yup!I think summer has left us now..It's been cold and rainy past 3 day'S ...Had to put on a long shirt..Looks like i won't be able to go outside and read anymore...

Why can't summer be LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGER,and winter be shorter?

You're not alone Kathy. There are days that I wish the school bus would drop them off at someone else's house instead of mine. LOL! But it's hard to watch them grow up so quickly.
