Diva Lorrie & her family

Hello everyone,

I ask you to keep Diva Lorrie and her family in your prayers. Lorrie's sister-in-law Jane lost her battle with cancer yesterday. It was a rare form and the doctors were surprised she lived as long as she did. Last year, Lorrie's husband David (Jane's brother) was a donor for Jane, and when the cancer returned recently, they hoped to be able to do another transplant. Unfortunately, the cancer spread too quickly.

I'm sure Diva Lorrie would appreciate your prayers at this difficult time.

She'll be in my prayers...My mother recently lost one of her best friends, Pepe Duveau, from the same insidious disease. It takes his life in a month.

Hey gang,

What a sweet surprise to find this post today. I am so sorry for not responding sooner but I never seem to make it here as often as I'd like. Thank you all for your kind well wishes and prayers.

My sister in law Jane had Multiple myolomia Luekemia, the most agressive form of cancer one can have. She lived with it for three and a half years before her passing on November 9th and by that time she was the longest person in the state of Wisconsin to have survived this cancer.

Over a year ago my husband was found to be the perfect stem cell match and we went to Milwaukee for a harvest donation of his cells. She has been living the past year with her brother's blood cells in her body. Surviving that transplant was a miracle in itself, she loved it when my husband nicknamed her Mini-me. Unfortunately the cancer came back one year later and as Cheryl mentioned she went fast.

I have found such a great group of friends though my Little House forums and I am deeply touched by everyones thoughtfulness. It deeply touches my heart and picks up my spirits.

I promise to stop by more often... you guys are great.
