| :kitty: Yes, I am sure we all have worn something that we wish we could forget. What are some of the clothes you wore that would fall under this category? ------- Well, I can remember 3 of them: 1. My jeans with the bottom rolled up. LOL... too funny... 2. This hideous dress, it had a flowery print and big shoulder pads... I looked like a girl who couldn't decide whether she wanted to play football or wear a dress to church :Hahaha: I ended up tearing off the pads... 3. I had a pair of shiny big black shoes I use to wear. I guess it was during the MC Hammer time period... hahaha How about you guys? Let's share! :3gather: | |

| * Dresses and shirts with those huge shoulder pads are the top offender.
* Satin jackets--mine was flourescent. UGH!
Actually, my main problem now is trying to find pants that aren't low-riders. Every pair of pants I find sits below the waist and I find that uncomfortable...especially since I have no hips to hold them up.

| HUGE shoulder pads, for sure. Oversized sweatshirts. Jelly shoes. Flourescent jelly shoes. Legwarmers. Banana clips in big hair. LOL And BIG jewelry. Everything was BIG! | |

How funny... and I only like low-riders, but not too low that I'll pull a "plumer look" if I sit down or something LOL

| Just about anything that I wore in the 80's! I don't know what happened to fashion in that decade, but it was pretty hideous, though I did go along with it all, lol.
The pinstripe jeans. I have to agree with Savannah on the leg warmers and jelly shoes. The Madonna wanna-be outfits. (Lacy tank-top over plain tank top. Thankfully my mom wouldn't let me do the lacy tank-top over bra, otherwise I probably would have! Thanks Mom!) Huge, oversized button-down shirts, with a wide belt at the waist, over leggings or stirrup pants. Flourescent anything.

I loved acid washed jeans in the 80's Oh boy, does THAT bring back memories!! :Hahaha: When I was 14, my family went over to my Aunt Kathy's house for Thanksgiving. My brother had just bought a new pair of acid wash jeans the day before, and decided to wear them to Aunt Kathy's house. About an hour after we got there, we heard RRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIPPP! His brand new acid wash jeans ripped, when he sat down. (They weren't too small for him, either!) Then when he stood up, they ripped again! My Uncle Ron jokingly suggested that Aaron could probably rip a back pocket off with his bare hands. Aaron didn't try THAT, but he reached down, and very easily tore the leg that was unripped - just by pinching the fabric and pulling it! Apparently, the manufacturer had left those jeans in the acid wash just a LITTLE too long!! :Hahaha: It's a good thing that Aaron and Uncle Ron were about the same size . . . . Aaron's pants were disintegrating fast, and things were about to get embarassing! :haha:

| Rob! Okay, raise your hand if you wore a fanny pack! I remember my cousin and I almost killed ourselves riding our bikes to this yard sale to buy the last fanny pack they had. | |

Oversized sweatshirts. Jelly shoes. Flourescent jelly shoes. Legwarmers. Banana clips in big hair. LOL And BIG jewelry. Everything was BIG! I share what you've said, Savannah. I would always wear shoulder pads, and BIG (and cheap! ) jewelry. My hairdosss were always ENORMOUS and frizzy and my make up STRONG, like Cindy Lauper's one...Ugh. What an hideous fashion. And yep...I also wore overzised sweatshirts! :shy: And much, too much golden and silver-coloured clothes. :disco: However, dear Savannah, I must confess that I never, but never wore fluorescent jelly shoes! :Hahaha: However, there is a thing I loved from these times: Hello Kitty. I purchased all sort of items with her in it. And I'm happy she finally come back...even if I miss "My Melody" too much. :crySC: Vanesa. :kitty:
