i don't really like when ppl say happy holidays cause it takes CHRIST out of it! i'm sorry if i sound mean anybody but thats my opinion

I say Merry Christmas too! I don't understand why so many people want to change it, it has always been Christmas and it should stay that way.

I don't even know anyone who says Happy Holidays. It doesn't sound as welcoming and "homey" as Merry Christmas.

I don't like anything else and it bugs me when people say Merry x-mas, it sounds terrible and it's like they don't wanna acknowledge that its the birth of Jesus.

And the whole business of "Holiday Trees". C'mon. Just call them what they are: CHRISTMAS trees. People don't call Menorahs or Kinaras "Holiday Candle Holders". So why should a Christmas tree be relegated to the anonymity of HOLIDAY Tree. . . . . WHICH holiday?? Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentine's?? It is for a specific holiday, and it has a name.

Lol Savannah, I know, it bugs me when people say Holiday tree instead of Christmas tree. Politically correct terms bug me too. It seems like peolpe are so afraid of offending people these days.

It is so true and I agree. It seems that politicians are recognizing all the foreign holidays to be accepted and celebrated here but yet Christmas seems to be denied here. mad

People who say Merry X-mas may think that they have crossed Christ out of Christmas. But little do they know, the greek letter for Christ is X. So, don't be offended, Christ is still in X-mas.

I say Merry Christmas. It really makes me mad when people pick on anything having to do with God. I don't go around saying bad things about other people's gods. I respect all religions.

If I want to shorten it, I say "C-mas".

And "holiday tree?" Uh...since when??? I went to K-mart the other say and they had NOTHING to do with the birth of Christ.

It was all Mickey and Pooh and snowmen. I mean, I appreciate that they're using them, but PUT SOMETHING IN THERE THAT HAS THE TRUE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

And almost no angels on trees now...all stars.
