| I've been trying and trying to watch for when Opie was going to lose the last of his long, razor sharp baby teeth. Every time he's lost one, he loses it when I'm not around, and I really wanted the children to be able to see it! So, I've been stalking the poor kitten. LOL! That last little tooth was SO loose! But, he lost it while I wasn't around. The LAST of the little razor baby teeth, and I missed it. I was so bummed! Well, then yesterday, I opened my craft box up to finish up a miniature bear for a friend.......I picked up a small ball of thread......and what do you think was stuck IN the thread?? Opie's LAST baby tooth!! He had apparently tried to steal some of my thread (not the first time!) and his tooth came out right in the ball of thread!! :Hahaha: So I was able to bring it with me to let the children see it on Saturday. The boys thought it was "COOOOOL!". Rachel thought it was gross. LOL! I'm not sorry to see the last of those razor sharp little fangs disappear, though! LOL......Those things are terrible! | |

| LOL, Savannah! That's funny that you found it in the thread. Maybe he planned it that way for you. LOL! Are you going to keep it, or did you throw it away as soon as you got home from seeing the children? | |

| LOL, Savannah, that's so funny. Finally, you have some evidence to show your little nephews and niece, so they won't think that they have a crazy aunt!! :Hahaha: "Within the heart of every stray, lies the singular desire to be loved." | |

| :Hahaha: Well, we had originally gotten Opie before they moved - so they knew what a little rascal he was. As for the crazy Aunt part..........I'm afraid there isn't ANY evidence that could clear me of that charge!
When I showed them the tooth the little boys asked me if Opie was going to get something from the Tooth Fairy for it. :Hahaha:

| LOL!! It can get a little confusing! But isn't it a comfort to know that Andy's little Opie didn't have long, razor sharp little baby teeth? :Hahaha: | |

Though that might explain why we never heard anything about Opie's mother. :sillySmiley:

| I have to admit... the mentioning of Opie (Savannah's cat) got me thinking about Opie the character in the Andy Griffith show... so I started watching the show but mainly the ones that centered around Opie But I didn't see a connection with the character and the cat... because the boy seems like a well behaved boy.. considering... the cat on the other hand... lol Was it the name you liked Savannah? It is kinda cute. | |

| :Hahaha: Carol!! I won't pass on to Opie your assessment of his character. :Hahaha: No, he wasn't named because his personality is like Opie's. (Although - when I first picked out Opie, he was the quietest kitten in the litter. That quickly changed!) But Mikey and Caleb liked the name "Opie" a lot, and they really like Opie from The Andy Griffith Show. Sooooooooo, they picked his name. I had other names in mind. But "Opie" really suits him. | |

| Savannah, I think our kittens are conspiring against us! As I was getting ready for bed last night, I pulled back the covers and found part of Nytro's claw! If you like, I can send it to you. How old is Opie? | |
