MY hubby got me the CD of the only recording of Laura's voice for Mother's Day. After Laura talks about her family there are several songs played using Pa's fiddle. I was wondering if anyone of you have the CD, and do you know the name of the songs recorded? They are not listed on the CD cover.

Thanks Savannah.....I emailed them so maybe I will hear back soon. I guess I just want a name to what I hear..knowing that Laura and her sisters heard the same thing.

I heard a tape that we got from the gift shop in De Smet but I only remember Laura speaking- no music. I gave the tape away or I'd listen again. It was soooo fun to hear Laura's voice!

Yes, it is. I think Rhonda had posted the link on the old site. But I can't find it now! And I haven't been able to find the names of the songs played with Pa's fiddle.

The site took her voice off their link......I am sure people were probably taping it and selling it for their own profit.......

Gin, you might go here and click on "Pa's Fiddle" and see if the songs listed there and played are some of the ones on your CD.

yea, I wish there was, but not really. One of my sisters has seen a few episodes, and LHBW is a class reading book at my school, so two have read that, but that is the extent of it.

I think this is recorded in an old cassette (now, it's transformed in a CD) aout laura's music. I DO like her voice very much. And you must easily notice she was NERVOUS when speaking, since she was very shy. She had a nice voice, for sure.
