Opie rides again

Opie has been a busy boy lately. grinsmiley

I won't make you listen to all of his adventures, lol.........but this one was too surprising to keep to myself.......

Last night, my brother called me to let me know that he was going to stop by and pick up some Vicodin for my dad. Charles (my brother) was on his way to the lake to camp out, after getting out of work. Well.....it was about 11:30 at night, and I was upstairs watching the news. Charles has a key, so I figured I'd go downstairs when he got here. A few minutes later, I heard the front door open...........then heard:

"HEY!! AHH!!" and THUD!

Opie wasn't expecting company, and apparently thought that Charles was an intruder. He charged at Charles, slammed into his leg, bit his ankle, and raced behind him so quickly that it knocked him over. OhMy

Good grief!! (Opie weighs over 15 lbs. now, and has a lot of power behind him when he's running full blast) Thankfully, Charles wasn't hurt, and found it hilarious that Opie was such a good "guard dog". (So, it looks like he isn't going to sue us! :Hahaha: )

Next time I'll have to be sure to let Opie know that company is coming over!!

LOL! Opie should be in the movies.

One of our cats thinks it's a guard dog too. He follows the kids everywhere they go. He's a really good hunter too, so I pity the fool who tries to break into our house.

And Savannah & Cheryl, both your cats probably make better guard dogs than our DOGS...I swear I think they'd lick someone to death if we were threatened! Whistle
