- If I cannot live in Hooterville (GREEN ACRES) with all its zany characters, then I wish I could live in Walnut Grove as it is in this series. I think this is an excellent episode for introducing some of the main characters in the town to us.
Exactly! I would love to live in Hooterville, but I would perfer Walnut Grove I think.

| I re-watched this show with my nieces. They just love watching Little House on the Prairie with their Aunt. They didn't like the part, when Charles fall off the tree. So, they cover their eyes.
I like it, when the people help Charles stacking the bag of seeds on top of each other. This is one of my favorite episodes.

| I like this episode. Charles worked hard building a home for his family. I like how Mary and Laura decided to help their father finish stacking the grain sacks so he wouldn't loose the oxen and the men in town formed a line and finished the job for him. | |

| I never knew that the flowers in the opening credits were fake wire ones. Ruined my whole perception LOL. Just started watching this episode, and it is so different from what I had expected watching the Pilot. | |
