"Harvest of Friends" Meet

Gin and I joined Prairie Talk in August of 2005. About a year later Gin emailed me with a legal question and we soon began chatting and emailing back and forth. We found out that she was born and raised in Arkansas and I was living here. She knew her and her family would be vacationing here soon, and so we started planning how we would meet. The day finally came and on June 7, I drove to Russellville to meet Gin. We spent the day at a park, laughed, talked, cried and laughed some more. Gin brought her camera and took a few pictures. Now that she is back in Texas, we wish she had taken more.

Sorry for the size. Try as I might, I can't shrink them....LOL

Chris and I have talked on the phone. We have become really good friends. I would love to meet her.:woohooo:

I have also talked to Marilyn on the phone. It was really short and sweet. My stupid phone was acting up.

I can't wait till next summer. Thats the Diva Convention. I will be there with bells on.

Anyone going to Cedar Point next week? *LOL* Or how about Grand Rapids, Mi, the week of the 4th, or, Brighton, Mi. the week of July 9th. That's all the traveling I'll be doing this summer.:haha:

This is way cool that some of you have gotten to meet in person.
My brother has a friend that is a girl that he met on the internet, but they talk on the phone. Last year when I went to California, my brother set up a visit for me to meet her. The idea was a little odd at first, since they have not met in person, but we had a great time visiting. He has yet to meet her in person...someday
