We live in a famous part of Oz as far as commercialism goes ...we are in Bundaberg home of Bundy rum...Hubby of 28 years works at Bundaberg sugar which is a sister company of Bundaberg rum....he loves the drink i have never tasted it.

My name is Alice (BigAlice) a character on a soap I watch.

I'm 53, live on the East Coast, 2 dogs - Boston terrior, a black Lab, 1 cat, 1 Beta fish and the occasional babysitting for neighbors hamsters. I also love the adorable meerkats of Meerkat Manor on the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa.

I used to cross stitch with some fancy stitches and french knots. I don't do it anymore as my fingers don't always work together with needles.

Now I know what part of Australia you are from, you are up the Sunshine Coast from Australia Zoo, if I read the map correctly. Always wanted to visit Oz but never got there.

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.
