Yes, I do get the Hallmark Channel, and I'm really glad I do, because now I get to watch a lot of LHOP and the Waltons!

We never had Hallmark until last November. I was really happy to get it. Lots of really good old shows I hadn't seen in years!

I never get tired of this one. The image of Carrie chewing and chewing her snake part it's so funny!

But seriously, a great.uncle of mine cooked snake and gave it to eat to his friends.. . Without warning them about WHAT were they eating. They found it great and they were more than surprised when they knew what they've ate. At first, they wondered it was a delicious and rare kind of fish!

I've read that chinese people just loves to eat snakes...

The best part is when Mr Edwards cooked the rattlesnake.....the girls could barely stomach it, jack ran away and then there was Carrie.....to watch her chew it and the expression on her face!!1 Priceless

And Charles' face is a picture when Caroline is having a nightmare. He thinks his luck's in (use your imagination!!) but Caroline falls back to sleep!!! Watch his reaction. It's SO funny! :haha:

I'm watching the episiode right now. I love his reaction. I paused the secene and I noticed something on the wall by the side of the bed. It's black can't tell what it is. I don't have a picture to post and I'm not sure how to post photos on here. Next time someone watches the episode, check to see what I'm talking about. I can't tell if it's a shadow.

Hilarious!!!!

Karen Grassle loved this episode because it showed her and Charles as husband and wife, she even showed a bare arm!! I had to look again when I read that...she did have less clothes when they were camping that night on the way to town.
They had a lot of chemistry together, and I wish they had more happy episodes, always losing crops, money, etc. She never seemed to get much in gifts, etc. and I was hoping they had a little fun away. I have to say as a Mom, I wouldnt have gone with Mr. Edwards sitting, but it was fun to watch.
Mr. Edwards was a great character and I loved watching him with the kids...nailing Carrie to the roof was hysterical.

for some reason I started thinking of this episode today, when Mr. Edwards was supposed to be caring for the three Ingalls girls, and about how Carrie kept trying to run away from him, so he nailed her dress to the roof when he went up to fix a hole don't know why I thought of this episode, but it made me start laughing!

That was funny. I loved the more lighthearted moments with Mr. Edward's and the Ingall's.
I think when most fans think of LHOP it's those moments of laughter, of twinkling eyes, of joy and being proud of each other.

I know what I try not to think about, what doesn't define LHOP....the rape, the burning of 2 or 3 characters, divorce, and never for me, explosions destroying my loved town.

I think of the all the good shows like that one. Wish there could have been even more.

I like the part, Mr. Edwards nail Carrie's dress to the roof. Well, that's one way, keep an eye on a kid.

Pretty good episode overall.

This one is so fun, and it features all the main characters from the pilot. I do love Mr. Edwards. And it seems like he really loves those girls. Poor Charles - didn't get the second honeymoon he was hoping for!
