My library doesn't allow volunteers. Blue

A few years ago, a lady volunteered her time, and, even though she meant well.......she completely messed up the dewey system there. Books were "lost" for months - just sitting on the wrong shelf somewhere in the library. So, now they don't allow volunteers.

I haven't volunteered at a hospital- I'm very squimish!

Had a family member in the hospital for an extended stay? (My son was in for 9 days with a collasped lung!)

Oh yes. On several occasions. When I was a little girl, my Dad had a brain tumor, and my Mom has had several heart attacks......And, now that I'm an adult.........my Dad has been in the hospital for a couple of extended stays . . . . and two of my nephews have, too. I hope I never have that experience again.

Had someone come up to you and say "You look just like the heroine from the book I'm reading!!" :Hahaha: That was fun.

Walked 5 flight of stairs and found out the aprtments are all odd numbers, the evens are on the other side of the building (some of the old NYC apartment buildings were set up like that and no elevators). I ranted hell to my friend and she laughed hysterically! Ranting
