| Just a reminder, if you are recording Survivor, make sure that you tape the show following it, because the football game is going to go over, as it usually does on Sunday evenings. It will probably go over about 15 or 20 minutes into the next show. | |

| Thanks for the reminder, Teresa! I did a really boneheaded thing last year. I thought I'd skip the reunion show, so I only taped the finale from 8 to 10 o'clock... forgetting that it's during the first few minutes of the reunion show that they reveal the winner. So I missed it! | |

| Ouch, Rob!! Well, it looks as though the football game may go into overtime, so if you're taping the next show after Survivor, make sure that it's an hour long, not just a half hour show. I have to record the next 2 shows, because our local news comes on after it, which of course is only half an hour long. | |

| Thanks, Teresa. I'm definitely taping the reunion show. I'm curious to see how Corinne and Sugar get along. I also want to hear what Randy has to say. Did my eyes deceive me, or did he have a mohawk on the last show? He looked like he was straight out of Taxi Driver. | |

| Was it my imagination, or did Randy have a scowl on his face during the entire reunion show? Geez!! He's got some issues. And then there's Corinne...............I was NOT happy with her behavior on the jury when she was addressing Sugar. She didn't need to go there. And then she never really apologized for it during the reunion show. I'm so happy with the outcome this season!! | |

Oh Misti--we ALL said the same thing in my family!!! Can you even believe she came THAT close to winning the whole thing?! I'm sorry, but this should have been between BOB & SUGAR---the two most deserving players IMO---and this is why I HATE having a 'final three'. WHY don't they go back to the 'top two'?!?! It makes so much more sense! ARGH!!! My top moment of the night? JEFF getting in Corrine's face about Sugar!! "I've been doing this for 17 seasons and I've heard a lot of things, but I've never heard anything as nasty as that!" OMG---GO JEFF!! And you're right Teresa---she never apologized for any of it. That IS her and it's hard to imagine that people can be so downright cold hearted. I mean to mock someone about their 'dead father'? To call them an 'uneducated leech' to their face?!?! I love that Jeff told her it was a conscious decision that she made to say that to her. That was the whole point---you can be 'excused' to some extent when you say sth out of anger, but to think about something and make a decision to speak that way to another human being. I'm glad Sugar gave her the 'hand signal', that's for sure. And that the audience boo'd Corrine the whole time! She had that coming. Bottom line, I'm thrilled that Bob won---I wanted him to---but I just really wish Sugar would have come in second. I wish the jury could give props to people for the 'good game' they've played. It was 'by chance' that Susie was even up there in the end, Sugar actually worked at it and had great strategy. So yeah, I'm a tad bitter. We were freaking out when we saw all the "Susie" votes coming up. Sugar didn't do a whole lot to help herself at the tribal though---she was kind of like 'whatever' and wasn't very articulate. I liked that she called Randy a jerk though and wasn't going to suck up to him. He really IS, but you know, I did think he was pretty funny at the reunion though. No doubt he's nasty, but NOT like Corrine...there's a part of me that really feels sorry for Randy and what he must have gone through to become so bitter, but I can't quite muster pity that for Corrine---she is despicable and needs to reevaluate what a successful person is---a degree means nothing if you have no integrity behind it. I'm still waiting for the day we see a Suvivor Antarctica or Alaska or something!! LOL----I'm always secretly hoping that's what we'll see in the 'upcoming Suvivor' preview at the end of the reunion show! Better keep on dreamin'....they'll never go for parkas over bikinis. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Great snow and a great outcome. I too was shocked that Sugar didn't get even one vote, I thought she had the best game plays. She flipped when she had to so she could eliminate big players and because of the amount of time she spent on exile island she couldn't form a bond with just one player or team. Considering she played most of the game solo, she did a fantastic job manipulating people to vote certain ways. My big disappointment is that darn Kenny not seeing and forgiving Bob for not giving him the immunity necklace especially since it was Kenny who started up the headhunting campaign to vote Bob out when he gave it up. For someone being so nerdy intelligent doesn't he see how stupid and childish he looked on tv last night? Did he not see why Bob had to renege on his previous promise? At least he had it right in the reunion ceremony, he was greedy and too self-confident. As for Sugar, I really thought she could have won it and I respect her for giving Bob a shot at staying in the game with the tie breaking fire challenge. I just don't understand why Matty voted for Susie though especially after Sugar gave him the immunity idol last week and in my eyes she couldn't choose between Bob and Matty so she let them duke it out. Way to go Bob!! | |

Yeah, I agree. Randy seems like a damaged, unhappy person. Corinne just comes across as a basically well-adjusted person who thinks it's cool to be nasty. - Then Amy wrote:

LOL! I remember someone asking Mark Burnett when they were going to do a cold-climate Survivor. He said they probably never would. "Too many clothes." Speaking of that, how come Sugar never wore a bikini? Ah, it's probably just as well. To borrow Misti's line about a past Survivor, she was as ugly as homemade soap.

Ok Rob, you asked for it: And she did, kinda, didn't she? Well, maybe not...the top anyway. On another note...ahem.... You made a perfect 'analysis' of Randy & Corrine. They are NOT the same; I think Corrine thinks they're equally nasty and that's not the case, for the reasons you stated. I still can't believe she was egging everyone on to 'be nasty', like to Bob "Uh uh---I don't want to hear you say anything nice! Be mean!" LOL Beckie---I had a feeling you'd pick up on the Marcus "IQ" thing! :haha: And, ahem, the fact that he looked 'divine' last night! By the way, I really liked him at the tribal council last night....he was one of the 'normal' ones up there. Lorrie I could quote your entire post---I agree with all of it. Kenny was being absolutely ridiculous---what the heck was his deal?! And Matty was a total disappointment...so much for Sugar being like a 'sister' to him. She played that very fairly and he was so bitter about losing that he gave his vote to SUE??? Good grief. This was all around one of the most bitter juries I've ever seen in the history of Survivor. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Do you remember Sue from the first Survivor? LOL!! She was pretty nasty at the Tribal Council to "what's her name," before they made their final vote. Nothing like Corinne though. Amy, I liked what you said about it not mattering what kind of degree you have. If you don't have integrity, then it doesn't mean very much. Corinne says that she has a sarcastic personality. What she said to Sugar about her father was not sarcasm, just pure stupidity. | |

I remember that. Kelly and Richard were the two finalists. In casting her vote for Richard, Sue said something like: "There are rats and snakes on this island. Richard is a snake and Kelly is a rat. Just like in nature, let the snake eat the rat..." A classic Survivor summation speech.

Yeah, and before that she was dismissing the whole idea of being nice. " Anyone can be nice." Well, anyone can be a jerk, too.

Just like in nature, let the snake eat the rat..." A classic Survivor summation speech. Classic is right!! And Teresa, that was the FIRST thing my hubby said when Jeff said Corrine's words were the worst ever. Um, SUE HAWK???? Hellooooo?! LOl! She said (I think this was to Richard, but maybe it was Kelly), "If you were thirsty and starving I wouldn't give you a sip of water", or SLT. I mean, WHOA! BUT, in her defense, THAT was totally 'in character' and she apologized for it later and said she really didn't mean that. Corrine didn't seem to regret her words one bit. And I didn't understand her whole " Anyone can be nice" thing either Rob. I mean, for an 'educated' woman, she sure sounded stupid. But you know, this is the honest truth, I know several highly educated people, and yet they don't have an ounce of 'common sense'. LOL, give me common sense any day! The same can be said for Kenny and what Lorrie was saying---he's super intelligent, we know that, and yet couldn't understand HOW it was fair that Bob kept the immunity, even at the finale when he'd had time to think on it longer. It's like all rationality was gone. Pretty sad. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
