The Last Movie you've Seen

I have seen FIREPROOF but not the other two. Let us know what you think of it.

You need a box of kleenex to watch these movies.....I was bawling at the end of Fireproof.

I did not really get into it that much.

I really like Fireproof but i did think some of the acting was kind of cheap anybody else feel that way?

Kirk Cameron is the only *real* actor in the movie....all the other characters are played by members of the church that the director belongs to. The members also volunteered with scenery, extras and anything else they needed.....

I thought the storyline about the mother was kind of weird. If I remember, she had done "the love dare" to her husband years before. I guess I don't know why they really threw that part into the movie, and I don't feel like it added anything to the movie. Just my opinion.

From what I got from that is, Kirk Cameron's character had a difficult time getting along with his mom and felt his dad should've left her long ago since she was such a difficult person to live with.....Throughout the whole "love dare" he thought it was his father that had to work so hard to stay with his mother, when it was actually his mother that took the time to work on the marriage....his father didn't tell him until the end because he knew he wouldn't listen to him and do the love dare himself....It just goes to show that marital problems can be from either one (or both) of the spouses, not just the man having problems with the woman......that is my take on it...

I saw that movie at a theater when it first came out.

Yes, but I'm still trying to digest the ending...

It's just that the ending leaves me wondering whether certain parts of the movie actually happened or not.
