For a Friend

A good friend of mine just called me to tell me that her husband is getting laid off from his job. They just bought a house last month, so this is an especially bad time, and with the job market the way it is, on top of health problems he has that will limit his job options, it's going to be a tough ride for them. She already is working full-time, but is looking for a second job now to help supplement their income. If you could keep my friend, Tracy, and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time, it would be very much appreciated. Unfortunately, they don't have the option of going to family for help either.

Pam tell Tracy that a whole lot of Prairie dogs are praying for her! Maybe at least the thought of that will cheer her up. It seems things get so bad and with the holidays coming it really piles up. I will remember her in prayer. Smiles...Gin

Prayers for Tracy and her family.....In fact, prayers for everyone who is going through tough times right now......The economy is so bad and people are not only losing their jobs, but their homes too.......Things have got to change and turn around.....for everyone's sake!

Oh that is just horrible! I feel badly that they just bought a house too...the housing prices are cheap, but it's scary to buy right now too. I'll be praying for Tracy and her family---it's bad enough to have the financial woes, but health issues on top?! I hope they'll be ok.

Thank you for keeping her in your prayers. I know that she will find comfort in knowing that people are praying for her and her family.

Yes, Rhonda, so many people are going through tough times right now. I agree, we should remember everyone going through difficult times.

Spring is finally here, the lovely pink blooms on the "spray" tree outside my window are gone leaving a beautiful willow.

I know, I can't even stand to turn the news on anymore, because it is so scary to hear about what's going on. It turns out that she just got her pay cut by 7% at her job (her job is directly affiliated with GM), and her insurance rates are going up 12% in January. It's never ending!
