I hope your hives clear up quickly....not fun. And I'm glad that the ultrasound didn't reveal anything too serious. Maybe some diet changes and you'll be back in ship-shape! And try that magnesium too---couldn't hurt! Thumbsup

I've been praying for your, Marilyn. I'm glad you are getting some relief from the pain - I hope it continues to get better. And I'm sorry that now you're dealing with hives - like Amy said, you can't get a break Check in soon and let us know how you're feeling!

Well, when this all happened again in the winter, my dr referred me to s specialist, a gastrologist who had performed my colonoscopy over a year ago when I was in hospital. The appointment is for this Thursday at 9am.
On May 7th the pain started to return but has been very mild. It isn't really bad like it was the first 2 times, and I don't feel it all the time, just every now and then. So, I will to go the dr and see if he can find out what is going on that my other dr can't find.

I am home from my appointment. The do recognized me from our meeting inthe hospital. He got my history on the problem and then got my weight and vitals. He began poking around the belly and caused it to hurt more than it already was. He has ordered some tests for me in the next months. I have bloodwork, cat scans, xrays and likely more to do over the next few weeks. So, hopefully he can find out what the problem is being caused by. If he, the specialist in this area of the body, puts his hands in the air and shakes his head as my family dr did, then I'm in trouble.

I would appreciate your prayers. I have been having more pains in my side this weekend and all day today. I have a blood test tomorrow and an ultrasound on the 19th.
