the new anne movie?

anyone watch it? well i did and i must say i hated it...They had gil die in the war...Think this movie messed up the books!.....Hope they dont make an anne 5 now!


I know i sound silly for feeling like this..But ANNe of green gables movies meant a lot to me i grew up watching them...Guess i just can't picture anybody elise playing "anne"

I Watch it as Well not the ending i had better things to do it was like 15 mins to go yet but i did't really like it either the Whole Story Line was just not right the First Movies are the best never read the Books (maybe Someday)

yup the first 3 movies are better...well least the 3rd one was better

the funny thing is i liked anne 3....wasn't so bad.)well to me) but this movie just really annoyed me..What the heck was he thinking????????? i wasted 3 hours watching this movie,, i mean he runied such a good thing,,,,,,,, megan was far the best "anne" why could't he have made an movie with anne and gilbert and there children...hope he doesnt go in and mess up RTA now!

i did't even like the remake movie of LHOTP!

For Me there will never be a other anne of Green Gables Movie as good as the one with Meagan Follows in there or What do you all mean with Anne 3?

Anne 3 was the movie before this latest one, Jacob. Sullivan also strayed very far from the books for Anne3. Disllusioned with life in New York, Anne and Gilbert return home to Avonela. Gilbert--not Anne & Gilbert's children as in the books--is pressured to enlist during WWI. Anne and Gilbert get married, then he goes off to war. All his letters are returned and Anne journeys overseas to find him.

While working for a publishing house in New York, Anne had grabbed the attention of a popular author, Jack Garrsion. Jack is actually very involved in trying to bring about the end of the war and is trying to get out of his contract with the publisher so he can get more involved in his war efforts. He helps Anne edit her book and plans to submit it under both their names. Unfortunately, Jack's agent submits it under Jack's name alone and Anne and Jack become estranged.

When Anne catches up with Jack again, she finds he has a wife and son, Dominic. When the wife is killed, Anne is entrusted with Dominic's care. Anne is pulled into a world of spies as she desperately searches for Gilbert, whose whereabouts remain unknown.

Amongst all this, Fred and Dianna Barry's marriage is unraveling, as Fred feels the desire to enlist, but Dianna refuses to allow it. When he loses his job, Gilbert helps him enlist and sees him off. Dianna is even more heartbroken when Fred is listed as missing in action.
