I'm glad you had a good Christmas! I had a pretty good one, to. I spent it with my family, and even though my Aunt's, Uncle's and cousins didn't get to come, we still went to a family dinner with great-aunts, great-uncles, and 3rd cousins.

I got a Blue jean Denim skirt, 2 music CD's, a book called 'The Lamplighter' and a Kodak EasyShare digital camera! It's a pretty nice camera. The model is a M893 IS. It's purple, and 8.1 mega pixels. I'll probably be posting alot more pictures, because I'm taking alot more pictures now! lol

Oh, I also got some of those sharpie markers that are retractable! Those are pretty cool. ☮

Sounds like you had a great Christmas Jacob. As to book three, The Martha Years has been discontinued by the author and HarperCollins released them again in 2007 with new photos--like they did with the original series and all the other Little House related titles. I don't know if that's why you had trouble finding them. The new versions of the books--excluding the original Little House set--are now abridged. This is why the author decided not to continue writing the books.

I did not have a Little House Christmas this year. I received a new digital voice recorder so that I can continue with my phone interviews. This one downloads an audio file directly to the PC. It won't save me any writing time, but it will be good to be able to save them on the PC instead of keeping them on the recorder.

I also received some new Christmas decor, a watch, and cash--which is always a good thing.

I hope Santa was good to all of you.

I got a Microsoft Zune mp3 player. I saw my nephew's and loved it. Now I need to get in touch with him and get him to show me how to download stuff. I'm sorta lost. Any suggestions as to how to do this would be appreciated, lol.

Glad you all had a good Christmas and got some nice things! Marilyn, I wish I could help you out---the hubby & boys have the MP3's now but I'm still in the dark ages. grinsmiley My hubby & I decided not to exchange this year (I got a carpet cleaner last month and I wanted that more than anything Wink ), and we wanted to make sure the boys had a good Christmas, since we were cutting back this year. But my mom got me a new blazer, robe & slippers, and "Jim Shore" angel ornament. Not sure if any of you know who he is but he's become popular for his carved folk figurines. Here's my angel ornament:

And here is the figurine I got last year:

Hey Mags, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's lost in this area. I can't wait to go walking outside listening to people singing God's praises. Walks will be so much more fun!!

Good luck with the learning process. What kind did you get?

Oh my goodness, I didn't know he had a nativity set! What do you mean by 'magic window', may I ask? Does it have like Narnia powers or something? LOL, just curious. Have you seen his Easter stuff??? Gosh, I really need to save my money---I want things of his for every holiday!

Ah, even more people getting great loot! Yay Santa! Thumbsup

I haven't seen his Easter stuff because I am a Christmas fanatic. As if you guys hadn't already guessed. Laughing

The magic window--don't even know why it's called that--is a box cut into the wall that has a light above it to display whatever you choose. I put the kids' photos in it the rest of the year, but the light is perfect for the nativity because I also have the angel that goes with the nativity. I think the nativity is only around $125 or so--which is much cheaper than a lot of collectible ones out there and the reason I bought it. It has the stable, the Holy Family, the three wise men, and a shepherd and animals. The angel is on a stand in the shape of a Bible and comes separately for around $30 or so.

Oh, I know what you mean now. That sound so pretty, and the perfect spot for a Nativity! I agree, that's not too much for a collectible Nativity----I'll bet it's gorgeous!

I had a lovely Christmas too. Got a pair of (small!!!) diamond stud earrings, Nintendo DS Lite and Brain Training (getting old now so need to do something to keep the brain active!), a new purse (I think you call it a pocket book!), clothes, pyjamas and slippers, gift vouchers and money. The kids got a Nintendo Wii and we got a Wii Fit for the whole family, which is great fun. 🏄

I've had a Zune MP3 player for over a year now. I love it! Mine is a 30 Gig. I don't know how much help I can be, but if you'd like, you can PM me and I'll try my best! Thumbsup
I love the video feature on mine. I don't know if you can watch video on some of the smaller ones or not, but I have 18 LHOTP episodes on mine so far. It's nice when your away from home to be able to watch little house.
