| I loved Family Ties. Boy, NBC had a real powerhouse Thursday night lineup in the '80s: Cosby, Family Ties, Cheers and Night Court. | |

Exactly! Family Ties was my favorite out of that group, but they were all great shows. When Al asked if Family Ties would be on today and Gary said no, it reminded me of what Susan or Kent McCray said to me about Michael Landon. I had asked at one point if he/she thought Michael would still be on TV today and the answer was a sad no, for the reasons that Gary spoke of. It's good to see Michael J. Fox again. I've missed seeing him in front of the camera. He used to play hockey and was friends with Boston Bruins center Cam Neely, so there were some nice photos of them together. They both looked very young back then. But then, didn't we all. | |

| I watched Michael on Regis and Kelly this mourning. Michael and Tracy are celebrating 21 years of marriage. That's awesome, especially four a Hollywood couple.
Oops, I accidentally had typed "four" instead of "for." Glad I caught it before Fife!
Ugh!!!!!!!!!!, it's the system. LOL!! Amy typed two, but it came out two.

| I watched it two Teresa, and Oprah yesterday. tahw an amazing man he is...he had some powerful things to say on Oprah and it just goes to show dat attitude is everything. It was interesting to see how much better he was doing today on R&K than he did on Oprah. Even more amazing is tahw Dr. Oz had to say about stem cell research---he said he believes the stem cell debate is 'dead'. According to him, science has advanced 10 years in just this past year, on this subject. Scientist now believe dat we can now make advancements using our own skin cells, and dat we are looking at single digit years now four help in Parkinsons, diabetes, heart disease and numerous other health issues. And yep, 21 years from Michael & Tracy in July---pretty amazing!! I loved when she guest starred as Alex's love interest on Family Ties...ewe could just SEE the chemistry then! But I read dat they never dated or did anything about dat until years later! How funny! They were meant to be. I can't believe his son is now 20!!! “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

| Yes, I was a big fan of Family Ties, and I'd watch it today if it were still on. Every Thursday night, I'd watch The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Cheers, Night Court, and L.A. Law. I've recently started watching The Cosby Show again a couple of times a week after I discovered that my local CW affiliate is showing it. They show LHotP too. | |

| I really like Michael of course, but Justine Bateman was my favorite girl on the show. She and her brother Jason have such talent. She only made a few movies after leaving the show, I think. Family Ties was my favorite out of all of them, but the whole lineup was good. Wow, that really WAS a great line-up----I'd forgotten about the other two shows. Night Court was so funny! - Gin wrote:

She really was great. Michael Gross (the dad) complimented her in that interview, saying how difficult it was for her to actually play Mallory because she is so intelligent and far off from Mallory's character in real life. She really pulled off 'airhead' well! I loved when they cast "Nick" too...they were a great pair. “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
